1. the smileys on yahoo instant messenger could keep me occupied for hours at a time.

How is the DG CD? I got into him with White Ladder like everyone else, bought the older releases, etc, and then was turned off by New Day at Midnight. New one any good?
well, i typically don't have love affairs with cd's that aren't very good. :) but, yes, this new one is much better than a new day at midnight. i think the problem with that album was that it just wasn't cohesive. it didn't feel like a complete piece of work, but rather a jumble of songs - some better than others. this one flows much better. and some of the melodies are so haunting they will give you chills. go get it immediately. whoever you are.
